Veronica Gonzalez an accomplished marketing executive and entrepreneur with close to 20 years of domestic and international entertainment industry experience. She is the Founder and Owner of The Element Marketing & Publicity. Veronica specializes in building image and mass awareness strategies for creative talent, entertainment products, and business organizations. She has a passion for working creative projects and expertise in the Latin market and building online marketing strategies.
Aside from working on establishing The Element Marketing, she is volunteering as the newest member of the Advisory Board of the Los Angeles Latin International Film Festival (LALIFF). Ms. Gonzalez previously worked as Marketing Director at one of the leading music companies in the world, Capitol Records, where she was responsible for Latin music marketing for icons such as Alejandra Guzman, Jaguares, and Shaila Durcal.
Her entrepreneurial success began with Elemental Media, Inc., an entertainment media relations and promotion firm she founded in 2000, where she represented clients in music, film, theater, dance, and the visual arts. Elemental Media represented major organizations such as Disney, Sony Music, Geffen Records, BMG Latin, and The Getty Museum. Before building Elemental Media, Ms. Gonzalez held VP of Product Development & Marketing, Publicist, and Label Management positions at Sir George Entertainment (Sony Discos), Luaka Bop Records (Warner Bros. Entertainment), and Caliente Entertainment (Atlantic Records). She has worked with major talent including David Byrne, Marc Anthony, Pitbull, Los Lobos, Café Tacuba, Lila downs, Sergio George, Los Van Van, Afro-Cuban All-Stars, Angelique Kidjo, Os Mutantes, among many others.
Ms. Gonzalez holds a B.A. in Ethnomusicology from UCLA, and an M.B.A. from UC Irvine. Her academic career reflects her dual interests in the arts and business. She was born and raised in East Los Angeles and has resided in New York, and Los Angeles.
