Los Angeles, CA (February 23, 2018): ARTIVISTAS is an extraordinary free concert featuring music and art by seven women artivistas (artist/activists) whose work focuses on resistance, empowerment, equality, and social justice. The evening will feature a mix of musical styles, including R&B, hip hop, soul, Latin, punk, alternative, and world music, by a powerful group of talented musicians mostly from Los Angeles. These visionaries will come together on the Bovard stage at USC, building community through their music and art. The evening will also include new song collaborations that will be performed live for the first time.

The impressive lineup includes iconic punk rocker Alice Bag, future-soul godmother Georgia Anne Muldrow, GRAMMY® winning Chicana singer/songwriter Martha Gonzalez (of Quetzal), hip hop gangsta goddess Medusa, hip hop artivist Maya Jupiter, award-winning Pinay poet Faith Santilla, and cultural space-maker Alison De La Cruz.
