ARTIVIST YOUTH

Sharing their skills with future leaders, the Artivist co-founders have successfully partnered and delivered music and art centered programs in Los Angeles, California. These aim to encourage and inspire youth to a pathway in the arts. Programs have included, the Boyle Heights Youth Orchestra Project, Fernando Pullum Community Arts Center, Hollywood High School performing arts magnet program and the New Media Academy. In 2018, the first global model was created, a workshop that linked the First Nations peoples of Australia and Turtle Island USA. This model utilized now technology with ancient wisdom, bringing the workshop ‘on country’ at the Wishtoyo Chumash Village in Malibu and connecting young people through a live stream.

FERNANDO PULLUM COMMUNITY ART CENTER, 2017

FPCAC is a non-profit organization that provides quality arts instruction to 600 under-served students between 5-to-20 years of age. The art center serves all students with a desire to learn and grow their talent.

HOLLYWOOD HIGH SCHOOL & THE NEW MEDIA ACADEMY

In an effort to encourage and inspire youth in the arts in the Los Angeles community, Artivist Entertainment teamed up with the Hollywood High School Performing Arts Magnet program and the New Media Academy in 2015 to create a series of workshops, at the school, focused on the recording process, songwriting, and the music business.

The outcome is this mini-websode series about the project, plus an upcoming documentary, and release of a song with the funds going back to the school.
