Artivist Entertainment: a Los Angeles based organization founded by Aloe Blacc, Maya Jupiter, Quetzal Flores, Veronica Gonzalez & Alberto Lopez. We are dedicated to supporting and creating music and art that inspires positive social transformation.

How We Do It.

We achieve our vision by;

Our work takes us across borders and barriers, our combined voice uplifting us all to be the best versions of our own humanity. We know the power of arts and culture in its ability to strengthen individuals, families, groups, communities and nations. We know there’s much work to be done. Artivist Entertainment is our commitment to share this knowledge and our capacity for positive futures for all.

Who we are

Alberto Lopez

Alberto Lopez

Grammy® Award Winning , Oscar nominated, Julliard School Alumnus, Alberto López has ancestral roots in Colombia. He has performed, recorded, composed and/or produced music with artists such as Quetzal, Mstislav Rostropovich, Rubén Blades, Celia Cruz, Lee Ritenour, Stanley Clarke, LCD Soundsystem, The Brand New Heavies, The Dalai Lama, Juanes and Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka, among others. 
Veronica Gonzalez

Veronica Gonzalez

Entrepreneur and Marketing Executive with close to 20 years of domestic and international entertainment industry experience. Former Marketing Director of Capitol Records, she founded Elemental Media, Inc in 2000 and has represented major organizations such as Disney, Sony Music, Geffen Records, BMG Latin, and The Getty Museum.  Ms. Gonzalez holds a B.A. in Ethnomusicology from UCLA, and an M.B.A. from UC Irvine. 

Quetzal Flores

Quetzal Flores

Grammy® Award Winning artist, Quetzal Flores has been musical director for the East Los Angeles based rock group Quetzal for over 25years. Since 2002, Flores has been a central figure in the transnational dialogue between Chicana/o musicians and artists from California and Mexicano musicians and dancers from Veracruz, Mexico, under the organizing auspices of “Fandango Sin Fronteras.”
Maya Jupiter

Maya Jupiter

Maya’s career began in Australia working media and entertainment alongside Hip Hop projects with underserved youth. In 2014 she was recognized by the charity Peace Over Violence with their Voice Over Violence Humanitarian Award. In 2017, she received Tiyya’s Owliya Community Leadership Award and was honored by the Justice For My Sister Collective. In 2018 she was the recipient of East LA Community Corporation’s Mujer Guerrera Award.    

Aloe Blacc

Grammy® Nominated multi-genre musician and songwriter is better identified by his chart-topping songs “I Need a Dollar”,  “The Man” and his collaboration with Avicii on “Wake Me Up”. Aloe Blacc, born to Panamanian immigrants, was raised in California’s Orange County, he is Alumnus of University of Southern California as a Renaissance Scholar, which he achieved by majoring in two widely separated fields of study; Linguistics and Psychology at a 3.5+ GPA.
